Psychodrama Workshops

By enabling individuals with deaf-blindness to freely express their emotions, psychodrama has proven to be an extremely effective form of therapy for this population. In addition to running a psychodrama group which meets on an ongoing basis, the Center organizes psychodrama workshops in response to urgent need. During Israel’s war in Lebanon in the summer of 2006, for instance, the Center created a special 10-session psychodrama program to help deaf-blind residents in northern Israel cope with the trauma of being under fire.
